I hate it too, kiddo. Kell-el is a good guy. Not knowing if his going back home means his universe is on the mend or not is frustrating.

For what it's worth, I can't imagine he failed anything. Even when we don't know what the metric for that measurement is.

i know he mostly kept to himself and felt like he didn't need anyone here but he was still one of us.

He was. He'd even been willing to let your dad cook for him, so I think he knew it on some level. He definitely knew he was welcome.
